Vesta takes responsibility to reduce the impact that we have on the environment wherever possible. We use international industry scrap standards as a benchmark, aiming to generate a nett negative scrap rate of between 3% - 5%, and in fact our state of the art machines generate less scrap and reuse nearly all of their waste.

We strive to reuse as much of the scrap generated in our manufacturing processes by blending or reusing the scrap polymer in certain of our products. Scrap gets granulated and then blended into the manufacturing process of more robust products. Only materials which are contaminated with dust (floor sweepings) and burnt material are discarded.

Reuse of scrap ensures that we remain as eco friendly as possible and promotes the image of plastic as a more eco friendly and Carbon footprint friendly product than other materials.
