BEE - policy and standing

Employment Equity and Economic Empowerment are important concerns within the South African context, and often a deciding factor within the business environment. Ampaplastics is therefore proud to have achieved 100% BEE contribution, made possible by our representative staff complement, as well as the recent management buyout which has resulted in Kopano Mota as the Chairman of Ampaglas Plastics Group. Importantly, Ampaplastics’ BEE status allows our customers to claim one hundred percent BEE contribution.

As part of the Ampaglas Plastics Group, Ampaplastics is committed to an Employment Equity Programme in line with the dynamics of South Africa’s social environment. Our business is focused on skills development as well as human capital investment. Ampaglas intends to lead the industry with respect to developing skills and has plans to spearhead this sector through programmes that are innovative and pioneering.
